A burst of seasonal jobs in retail helped cut Arizona’s unemployment rate in November while gains in construction — reversing a decade-long trend — may signal sturdier growth ahead. The state’s employers added a net 29,800 workers last month, bringing down the jobless rate to 6 percent. That’s still 1 full percentage point higher than the national rate, but the latest employment surveys suggest key gains on several fronts.
