Walmart to open concept store at Arizona State University Big-box retail king Walmart is bringing a new small concept store to Arizona State University’s Tempe campus. Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE: WMT) is opening the new smaller format store on Apache Boulevard just west of Rural Road in the southern part of Arizona State’s sprawling Tempe campus. Boston Semi Equipment leasing new Tempe space Boston Semi Equipment LLC, an equipment provider for semiconductor manufacturers, has signed a lease in Tempe that allows the company to move all of its local operations into one office. Previously, Massachusetts-based BSE has been working out of various Phoenix locations, but with its new lease at 1000 S. Priest Drive, BSE will be able to consolidate its entire operation in Arizona to one larger location. ASU planning downtown Phoenix expansion into Arizona Center In expanding its presence in downtown Phoenix, Arizona State University has inked a deal to move into a new office space at the Arizona Center sometime next year, according to a statement Wednesday by the Phoenix office of Cassidy Turley. ASU has signed a five-year lease for a 33,522-square-foot office space in the center – located adjacent to its downtown campus at the northeast corner of Van Buren and 3rd streets – that will be utilized for both administrative and classroom use, although it was unclear exactly what kinds. Buying Into The Housing Recovery Wall Street buyers are helping support a full-blown national housing recovery by driving up sales and pricing. All 20 major cities tracked by the influential S&P/Case Shiller Home Price Index posted gains in January from a year ago for the first time since the housing bubble burst in mid-2006. “Economic data continues to support the housing recovery, said David M.
