The city of Glendale in metro Phoenix has approved rezoning to set up a land parcel near its entertainment district for a new sports and events complex, the Phoenix Business Journal reported. Mesa City Council will likely approve a rezone of 196 acres later this month in Southeast Mesa that should clear the way for the mix-used Legacy Park development.
